Welcome to our 18th-century residence, a former wine estate now transformed into a lush, green sanctuary. Located in Mesland, between Blois and Amboise, we welcome you to a bucolic setting where historic charm meets modern comfort.

Our two guest rooms and independent cottage are nestled within a secluded property, hidden from view—the perfect place to recharge after exploring the Loire Valley Châteaux or spending a day at the Beauval Zoo. To ensure your stay is defined by peace of mind, the entire estate and our private parking are fully secured.

We worked abroad for many years. As we were looking for the house of our dreams in the region of Touraine, we immediately fell in love with this authentic property.

Our guest house project is a small family business. We offer a comfortable place decorated with care; paths criss-cross the garden where the shrubs ensure tranquillity for everyone.

😀 - Das Haus war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage war ausgesprochen ruhig und zentral zu den sehenswerten Schlössern gelegen. Die Vermieter waren überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich und standen uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Auto konnte mit den Fahrrädern im umzäunten Hof geparkt werden, was ein grosser Vorteil war. Die Ausstattung im Haus und der Küche liess keine Wünsche offen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt - uneingeschränkte Empfehlung 😞 - Nichts - es war perfekt!

Excellent gîte pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire
😀 - Nous avons apprécié l’accueil chaleureux. La maison est très confortable, propre et nous y avons trouvé une tranquillité et un calme sans pareils (hérisson et oiseaux dans le grand jardin 😀). Nous avons beaucoup aimé les espaces extérieurs (2 terrasses aménagées). La localisation est parfaite pour visiter nombre de Châteaux de La Loire, connus et moins connus. 😞 - None

😀 - Was ons hoofdverblijf voor de vakantie. Leuk karaktervol en comfortabel huisje, op het mooie groene terrein van "Les 7 tilleuls". Landelijke locatie en op rijafstand van veel mooie kastelen, Blois, Tours, Orlean en een enorme dierentuin. Erg fijn contact met de eigenaren. Zeker aan te bevelen. 😞 - None

Prima verblijf!
😀 - De locatie is ideaal, het ligt in de buurt van mooie kastelen. John en Sylvie zijn zeer vriendelijke mensen die ons heel warm ontvangen hebben (zowel Frans als Engelstalig). De kinderen (3 en 7j) vonden hun aparte kamer boven geweldig. Dankzij het traphekje is het ook heel veilig. Alle benodigdheden in de keuken en badkamer aanwezig. 😞 - Niets!

😀 - Beautiful house, super clean and quite with privacy. The beds are confortable. Washing machine is clean and kitchen well equipped. The owners are very sweet people, available for any questions, super nice and helpful. What can I say it was a dream. Really the best 😞 - None

Little home away from home while visiting the Loire region!
😀 - Wonderfull place to stay while visiting the Loire region!! My wife, daughter (1y old) and I stayed with John & Sylvie for one week. We used this place as our home away from home to explore the Loire region. The Gîte is centrally located in the region, and it therefore is easy to make day trips to e.g. Blois and Amboise, but also to one of the largest Zoo's in Europe, and an abundance of French chateaux! John & Sylvie are extremely welcoming and heartwarming people who go above and beyond to make you feel at home at their gîte! Whether you're looking for some time to relax in the garden, enjoying the sound of the birds, or just want to use the gîte as a place to recharge after a long day at one of the many chateaux, we can highly recommend staying with them! 😞 - Nothing at all.

  • Can I park on-site?

    Free private parking is available on-site (by reservation only).

  • How far are the nearest supermarkets and restaurants?

    It is a 6-minute drive to Onzain, where you will find two supermarkets and several restaurants. Additionally, just a 5-minute walk from our doorstep, "Le Saint Vincent" offers a small grocery shop as well as a restaurant open for lunch (and for dinner on Friday nights upon reservation).

  • Are pets allowed?

    "Les 7 Tilleuls" guest house does not accept pets. 

  • What is the check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in: From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for the cottage (gîte), and from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM for the guest rooms.

    Check-out: Until 11:00 AM.


  • Is there Wi-Fi access?

    Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire property.
