About us

We worked abroad for many years. As we were looking for the house of our dreams in the region of Touraine, we immediately fell in love with this authentic property.

Our guest house project is a small family business. We offer a comfortable place decorated with care; paths criss-cross the garden where the shrubs ensure tranquillity for everyone.

We are always ready to help our visitors plan their stay: find a restaurant, an itinerary, a castle... in English or French, we do it with pleasure!

Family stay in Mesland

- Wonderful place. Spacious. With really nice green yard, perfect for little kids to have fun. Well equipped. Hosts are very attentive and helpful. Location is also good. Close to most interesting attractions in the area. I would highly recommend.

Exceptional

😀 - Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans le gîte de Sylvie et John. Ils ont été aux petits soins tout au long de notre séjour. Le gite est spacieux et très agréable, nous étions 5 personnes. Blois (Château) et Amboise (Château et Clos Lucé) sont à proximité. Nos hôtes nous ont par ailleurs conseillé de très bons restaurants. (Il faut penser à réserver). Merci encore pour ce séjour, nous revindrons sur la route des vacances

😀 - Hôtesse et hôte très sympathiques et serviables Grand jardin clos: parfait avec des petits enfants Grande maison fraîche avec une cuisine parfaitement équipée Parking privé derrière portail fermé. Beaucoup de choses amusantes à faire dans la région: les châteaux, Blois, Tours, Amboise, Zooparc Beauval, safari train réserve de Beaumarchais, … 😞 - /

Simply wonderful!

😀 - A beautiful house, comfortable , spacious and had everything we needed. Our kids loved having the upper floor just to themselves, and playing in the garden. Sylvie and John are wonderful hosts, with such a warm and friendly welcoming! We had a great vacation and look forward to visiting again (this time for longer, the region has so much to offer) 😞 - Nothing that I can think of - everything was perfect

Rules

In compliance with Decree N°2006-1386 of 15 November 2006, smoking is prohibited in places for collective use. The entire property, including the rooms, is non-smoking.
Our guests are not allowed to receive additional visitors during their stay without our expressed permission.
Please avoid making noise between 21:00 and 9:00.
All parties and disruptive events are strictly prohibited, regardless of the number of participants.
Children are under the sole responsibility of their parents for the entire duration of their stay.
Pets are not allowed.
As far as places are available, we allow parking of your vehicle on our grounds and in the indicated area, making sure that it does not block access and does not encroach on the plant beds. Bicycles can be stored in a specific area on request. Such parking is entirely at vehicle owner's risk.
We have organized a waste sorting area that will be indicated to you on site
